The Reasons for the Revelation (of the Qur’an)’ was translated into English by Sameh Strauch for the benefit of English-speaking Muslims and students of the sciences of the Qur’an. Many verses of the Qur’an were revealed in response to a particular situation or question that arose in the young Muslim community.
